Oil Pans

Oil pans in Duramax engines collect and store engine oil below the crankcase. They provide a reservoir for the lubrication system. Stamped steel or cast aluminum enhances durability and thermal dissipation. The design includes a drain plug for maintenance access. Baffles inside the pan reduce oil slosh during operation. Proper sealing prevents leaks and protects engine integrity.
